The following is the list of software sales from the month of February 2010:

Xbox 360 – BioShock 2, Take Two, 562,900

Nintendo Wii – New Super Mario Bros Wii, Nintendo of America, 555,600

Xbox 360 – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Activision, 314,300

Nintendo Wii – Just Dance, Ubisoft, 275,400

Nintendo Wii – Wii Sports Resort w/ Wii Motion Plus, Nintendo of America, 272,500

Sony PlayStation 3 – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Activision, 252,800

Xbox 360 – Mass Effect 2, Electronic Arts, 246,500

Sony PlayStation 3 – Dante’s Inferno: Divine Edition, Electronic Arts, 242,500

Xbox 360 – Dante’s Inferno, Electronic Arts, 224,700

Sony PlayStation 3 – Heavy Rain, Sony Computer Entertainment of America, 219,300

The competition for the most software sales among the consoles was pretty close for the month of February. The Xbox 360 took the top spot and also had four games in the top ten. The PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo Wii both had three games a piece in the top ten so it was a very close call for this month.

The following is a list of the video game hardware sales from the month of February:

Nintendo DS: 613,200

Xbox 360: 422,000

Nintendo Wii: 397,900

PlayStation Portable: 133,400

Sony PlayStation 2: 101,900

The Xbox 360 still reigns over the Nintendo Wii and the PlayStation 3 in hardware sales but the Nintendo DS is doing good at the top of the list.

On the upcoming Tuesday, February 9, 2010, the game, City Builder, will be available to every one for the Nintendo Wii. In this game, that was developed by Collision Studios, there are two different game mechanics that are combined together for this one game. It will always be fun while you stack water pipes, roads and power lines to be able to start developing an ever growing city. Four different continents are available for you to build up. The game gives an entirely new take on other classic pipe puzzle games by including three different levels which are the road, underground (water mains) and the sky (power lines). Put the pieces together as you go up against the clock. There are different obstacles in your way as you try to win. Watch each one of the cities grow in a new way!

The following are a few of the features that are included in the game:

100 challenging levels

Over 20 hours of game play

Different levels in which you will compete against the boss

Various strategies can be used to win

Make sure to look into this game when it comes out next week!

Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)

The Xbox 360 totally dominated that list of rentals with 17 games from the whole list of 20 games including the first 8 games present on the list. The Nintendo Wii is the only other console with games that were the top 20 rented having the other 3 games on the list. It is weird to see that the PlayStation 3, one of the top three gaming consoles, does not have one single game on the list. Why do you think that PlayStation 3 owners do not rent as many games as the Xbox 360 or the Nintendo Wii?

Fast Food Panic is going to be releasing on the Wii this Tuesday, Januray 5th. In this game you have to create the greatest restaurant in the world. You will do this by making delicious food, making sure the customers stay happy, greeting them when they come in and keeping your restaurant neat and tidy. This is an entertaining, fast paced restaurant stimulation game. You might think that this game sounds pretty simple, but owning a restaurant really takes a lot of hard work. Your waiters and waitresses will need your help to be able to keep the place clean, make deliveries, ring up customers and much more.

Compete against the clock in order to turn your restaurant to one of the best ones in the world.

Along with all of your different duties, you will unlock a lot of cooking mini games.
