A recent announcement made by Electronic Arts Mobile reported that Rock Band will be coming out for the iPhone and the iPod Touch next week. Just about everybody was ready for this to be announced as soon as a mobile version of Rock Band had been released.

A list of twenty songs has been floating around and this list is supposedly the list of the songs which will be available on this game. Tomorrow is the expected time of the formal announcement of the upcoming game to be made so keep looking for that. The following list is the supposed twenty songs that will be on this game:

If you have ever been wanting some “big news” well then here is something to blow your socks off. Even though right now it is just a simple ”rumor”, the news is still rather big and surprising. The word that is currently being spread around New York is that Microsoft is maybe interested in buying the big game publisher of Electronic Arts, also more commonly known as EA Sports.

This rumor will most likely simply remain a claim for quite a long time. However, when the word of Microsoft’s possible deal reached the public, Electronic Arts received a 4 percent boost in sales which suggests that this deal would be very big for Microsoft if it happens. I can’t even start to think about how huge this deal would be. With Microsoft in control, there would be Xbox exclusives for Electronic Arts which would definitely boost the Microsoft sales.

However, until one of these companies, either Microsoft or Electronic Arts, is albe to announce it to be made official, it is not worth even getting worked up about. If this were really to happen, it would probably not be any time in the very near future.

When this rumor was first spread, an Electronic Arts representative was supposedly not available to make any comments. Also, a Microsoft representative declined to comment on the deal. Also, recently an Electronic Arts representative said, ”We do not comment on speculation about our business.”

If you were a little bit too busy in the past week to catch up on all of the gaming information, here is a look at the five events that occurred that you should know.

5. The release date of BioShock is announced (Friday, September 18). This sequel was originally going to released in 2009. However, we now know when it will release next year.

4. Electronic Arts announced SKATE 3 (Tuesday, September 15). The third game in this very popular skateboarding series is announced. Some new features include players being able to make their own skate teams and compete in challenges against their rival crews. In this game, cooperative experiences will be concentrated on more.

3. Price cut for the Wii will be coming soon (Monday, September 14). An accidental leaked Toys R Us ad shows that Nintendo is soon going to be making a fifty dollar price cut off of the current Wii price. This will bring the cost of the Wii console down to $199.

2. A Modern Warfare 2 themed Xbox 360 is announced (Wednesday, September 16). Infinity Ward reported the coming out of a new limited edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 bundle. This bundle will include a 250GB hard drive, two wireless controllers and obviously, a copy of the Modern Warfare 2 game.

1. Australia bans the Left 4 Dead 2 title (Wednesday, September 16). This anticipated game has been refused classification which prevents Left 4 Dead 2 from being sold on shelves in Australia.
