Apparently, an anonymous source has reported that Activision is working with Euro development companies on new DJ Hero content. It was mentioned that they are working on both a sequel and downloadable content for this music game. Supposedly, musicians DMC Champion and judge DJ Qbert were both approached and asked about being included in this new DJ Hero content.

To me, it seems a little weird that Activision is deciding to start on the DJ Hero sequel when they do not even know how the first game is going to do. It seems to me like you would want to be at least a little concerned about if people are really interested in this game. Activision is a big fan of sequels, but they are an even bigger fan of money. To know that they are already working on developing some DLC for this game is a good thing because gamers could get persuaded to buying DJ Hero after hearing that more songs and such will be on the way. Also, it is good to know that there will be a sequel because people are expected to buy an expensive controller for it. They are going to want at least more then one game to use it on.

Fallout 3 has been a great success. I personally own the game, and love it. This is a lot like Oblivion only improved so much. With a game this successful comes a chance for the creators to release DLC to make some extra money off of us. When a game is this good, I don’t mind.

There are four new achievements that will be heading towards us with the DLC. They are all related to quests though so they shouldn’t be too hard to complete.

Aiding the Outcasts (20) Complete “Aiding the Outcasts”

The Guns of Anchorage (20) Complete “The Guns of Ancorage”

Paving the Way (20) Complete “Paving the Way”

Operation: Ancorage (40) Complete “Operation Anchorage”

I haven’t heard of the release date, but it appears that we will see these updates any day now. I’ll let you know what I think of the updates if they even apply to me yet, as I’m not very far into the game yet.
