Many of the games that are currently available for the iPhone are going to eventually be available for the iPad as well. Most game developers are in the process of reworking their own game so that it can be sold for the iPad also. Of course, the price comparison for these games is pretty drastic. In fact, the game that is presently known as the most expensive game that will be releasing is selling for the price of $14.99! At least the games which are going to be available for the iPad are going to have better graphics and also many other improvements compared to those that are now on the iPhone games.
iPhone Games vs. iPad Games Price Comparison
- Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies — was $9.99 / now $14.99
- Need For Speed Shift — was $9.99 / now $14.99
- Plants vs. Zombies – was $2.99 / now $9.99
- Flight Control — was $0.99 / now $4.99
- Civilization Revolution — was $6.99 / now $12.99
- Jelly Car – was $0.99 / now $2.99
- Tetris — was $4.99 / now $7.99
- Diner Dash — was $0.99 / now $4.99
- Cogs — was $0.99 / now $4.99
- Fieldrunners — was $2.99 / now $7.99
- Scrabble — was $2.99 / now $7.99
- Words With Friends — was $2.99 / now $4.99
- Pac-Man — was $4.99 / now $4.99
Do you think that these prices are fair?

Recently, some people got the chance to give the new game, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, a try. The following is a preview that was given to this game which will be coming out for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and the PlayStation Portable:
“A little while ago, at Ubisoft’s San Francisco offices, I got a first look at Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. It was quick demonstration of the game’s element-based combat system and environmental puzzles (you can read my original preview here). At PAX East, Ubi let the general masses get their hands on a slice of that demo and try out the water-manipulation (you can freeze time, turning water into solid objects you can interact with) themselves. Using my undercover skills and disguises, I slipped into the general masses unnoticed and gave it a run through. For the purposes of this hands-on report, I’ll go back to my first-look observations and see how the playable experience lines up.”
Be sure that you check this game out when it releases later on.

Here are some of the first impressions that were given to the game, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, which is a game that will be coming out for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Sony PlayStation 3:
“In the first scene Antoniades showed off, Monkey and Trip have to traverse a series of gutted high-rises to reach a construction crane for a vantage point. In this section of Enslaved, the enemies are all sentry droids. Trip scans the area for sentries, which are triggered like landmines by motion sensing. For the sake of showing off combat, Monkey trips the sensors and brawls with four sentries. One of the enemy types has a timer above its head that projects a hologram that counts down from ten seconds. If Monkey can’t destroy it, the droid will summon more reinforcements. At the end of the brawl, Monkey gains a weapon of limited ammo. And that’s key to many of Enslaved’s encounters: ammo is scarce, so it’ll take some clever gameplay to get past the many deadly robotic turrets that litter the landscape.”

Here is what was said about the DLC:
“It’s a whole new level of difficulty unto itself. The thing about these tracks is if you’re a Hendrix fan you know that really what powered that vibe is that he kind of just closed his eyes and flowed from his fingers, and we really tried very hard, especially on the expert level, to recreate that effect… So while it’s difficult to play we hear from Rock Band players and once they practice a little bit and get into the groove, they can kind of just let it flow, so we’re hoping they get the same effect. But it won’t be easy very often from the get-go.”

The game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, is a game that is not set to release until some time later off in 2011. However, a few people have gotten a chance to give this game a try. This game, which was developed by BioWare Austin and co-developed by Lucas Arts, is going to be available only for the PC, but this may change later on. The following is a preview that was given for the game:
“Treads on ground more morally ambiguous than say, the Jedi Knight or Sith Warrior, with many opportunities to assist or forsake separatists and other factions in opposition with the Empire. As the game progresses, the Trooper rises higher and higher in the ranks of the military, but our demo was set at level 6, which is probably somewhere around the rank of Imperial peon given the speculated 50 level cap. I was told that the further you progress in the Trooper’s story, the more pivotal your position in the Republic military is and you’ll be quite concerned with how you’re viewed in the galaxy.”
