In the four years that the Xbox has existed, there have been hundreds and hundreds of different exciting games to be released. Everything starting from the first person shooter games to the strategy games all the way to the role playing games, there have been a lot of successful games. Gamers have stayed mostly satisfied with the games that have come out. Recently, there was a list made of the top twenty five games that have come out for the Xbox. The top twenty five games that were picked are as follows:

25. Dead Space
24. Lost Odyssey
23. Dead Rising
22. Shadow Complex
21. NHL ‘10
20. Modern Warfare 2
19. Virtua Fighter 5 Online
18. Left 4 Dead
17. FIFA ‘10
16. Forza 3
15. Rock Band 2
14. Geometry Wars
6. Halo 3
5. Grand Theft Auto IV
4. Oblivion
3. Fallout 3
2. Modern Warfare
1. Mass Effect

All of you probably have different views on what games should be on the top twenty five list. Maybe there are games on this list that you haven’t played yet. Well if there is, then you should look into playing them since you will probably like them considering it is from the top Xbox games list. If the decision was yours, would you change anything about the order of the list or would you add any new songs? Or do you totally agree with this list?

Ion Assault is a game that just recently came out for the Xbox on Wednesday, September 23rd. This Shooter stlye game, developed by Coreplay, is an action-packed arcade-style space adventure with an unprecedented particle physics engine. In this game you can fight all by yourself or you can play cooperatively all the way through four different modes. Either alone or cooperatively, make your way though twenty different levels. Fend off swarms of aliens and instead of using a conventional weapon, you will use the free energy particles to fight.

The following are some features that are included in this game:

Adventures in space: Battle aliens using a unique fluid and particle system.
Different varieties of play: Test your skills all the way through twenty levels using four different settings each with lavish graphics.
Upgrades: Earn a variety of upgrades for your spaceships. Get upgrades such as augmented speed or increase radius used for collecting surrounding particles.
Different modes of play: Play various multiplayer modes including cooperative, arena, or harvest. Play these with up to four players.
Power-ups: Collect a variety special power-ups such as the Black Hole. Each power-up is only usable for a limited amount of time though so use it wisely.
International flavor: Ion Assault is the first ever Xbox Live Arcade game to be developed in Germany.

Pearl Jam is a very good alternative rock band that joined together in Seattle in the year of 1990. This band consists of members Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron. All together, the band has sold many more than 60 million records around the entire globe.

Not only are they releasing this album, “Backspacer”, to Rock Band, Pearl Jam will offer a special edition CD that will be available at Target stores nationwide which will include the Backspaceralbum disc and also a special code enabling owners of the special edition CD to download the entire album for Rock Band or Rock Band 2 gameplay. One great thing is that the songs will be imported into the Rock Band player’s library. This is going to make these songs available in each of the game modes including solo, band play, online multiplayer and instrument vs. instrument.

Track Listing

I’ve never played this game in real life or on the arcade. Let me know if it’s any fun and worth the $10 to download. I’m not too much for arcade games, but you might be.
