  • Best Platform Game – Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor
  • Best Puzzle Game – iBlast Moki
  • Best Racing Game – Firemint Real Racing
  • Best Sports Game – Home Run Battle 3D
  • Best RPG Game – Zenonia
  • Best Strategy Game – Star Defense
  • Award for Visual Excellence – Zen Bound
  • Award for Excellence in Sound – Zen Bound
  • Best Multiplayer Game – Eliminate
  • iPhone Game of the Year – Square Ball

Near the end of this year, yhe iPhone App Store reached a milestone. The number of Apps that are available in the store finally added up to 100,000. It was said that about a third of these apps are games. This means that after about 18 months, the iPhone is now the video game system which has the most games. With such a high number of games, you will always come across some really great ones. However, there are also some that are completely pointless and not good as well. The games listed above are seen as the best in their respective categories. If you have not yet gotten the chance to play some of these “best” games, be sure to check them out some time.
