You may have noticed that the new Super Mario Bros. for the Wii stayed with their traditional “ways”. There has recently been an increasing amount of evidence that the next Zelda game is going to see Link going on an adventure that is sorta new. They will be firming up their support for MotionPlus. Also, Eiji Aonuma, the designer, told Official Nintendo Magazine that there is a “new structure” for this upcoming Wii game.

“It is something we used to talk about with Mr [ShigeruMiyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise,” he said. “So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time.”

As you know, there are only a few Zelda constants. These constants include searching Hyrule Field, rescuing Princess Zelda, the presence of Ganon somewhere within the plot and also, saving the Tri-Force. Are there any guesses as to what Nintendo might be changing in these constants?
