There are going to be two different versions of the Madden 2010 demo released for you to choose from. If you choose to actually put five dollars down for your pre-order of Madden 2010 then you will get a Gamestop exclusive demo code that will replay the Super Bowl XLIII with five minute quarters.
If you are like me and not decided on the game yet, you will be able to download a free demo on PSN or Xbox Live which will feature the Giants versus the Cowboys with only two minute quarters. Barely long enough for you and the computer to both get a turn at offense and defense each half if you play the game well and work the clock with runs.
If you’re dying to play the new game and you’re sure you’re going to buy it, why not head over and put your five dollars down to reserve your copy and get the exclusive demo so that it can provide you with a better experience for what the game has in store. Personally, I’m leaning towards skipping 2010 and waiting for 2011. I will have to settle with the free demo and hope that this short demo can provide me reason enough to purchase the $60 game.
