The PSP unit has managed to sell over 50 million times around the world. Not too bad considering it was only released in late 2004 and early 2005 depending on where you live. It was the first hand-held device that could display 3d games and high resolution images. The PSP unit also had the ability of LAN so you could play your best friends or even family. This milestone was announced in Tokyo on February the 14th. The PSP unit has over 2000 games, and now some games are available to download over via your Ps3 or PC. Sony also announced that it plans to keep improving and adding more games to the Playstation store via wireless internet.
