The sequel to the Turok game appears to be all but a dream now. The game was reportedly in the works; however, it was never officially announced. Disney’s Propaganda Studios has been forced to lay off around 70 employees, most of which, must have been involved with the creation of this sequel. The other game, remains a mystery and appears to be still in the works.

This game was looking pretty intense. I never played the original, but I heard it was a pretty solid game. This looked like one of the few games that had an actual quality sequel coming out anytime soon. Whether this game will be picked up in a few months or years, if at all, remains a mystery.

The economy is severely killing the gaming industry. Don’t get me wrong, it’s bad for everybody, and I guess it’s the best play for a company to start it’s employee cuts. We’ve seen Microsoft, Sony, and several smaller video game companies being forced to layoff workers, and leading to these stories of games lost to us.
